How much influence should the government have?

What is, according to you the responsibility of the government concerning the raising of children?

They don't have any responsibility, it's completely up to the parents how they want to raise their kids.	2	9%

I think this is a very complex question, overlapping a lot of different area's, a bit too many for me to be answered satisfactory; especially in a 4 option multiple choice

Personally I feel it's not a good idea for the government to meddle too much in the raising of children, but there certainly is a responsibility (mainly financial. but also on a quality level) towards schooling/youth care. Still we need to be careful not to get into too much detail, seeing we live in a secular country with a mainly religious government.

I have to take this poll (and the parental course thing) for school, and normally you get the change to come up with other possibilities for the government. Open questions can't be asked at pollarity, but if you have anything to add, please do so here, by commenting.
